Last weekend

Had some fun with the camera taking some portraits. When my mum came for dinner.

Above two food lovers looking over the cookbook and all the wonderful recipes they want to make. After dinner Björn took this photo of me. Happy but a bit tired. He starts to like using my camera.

Have a nice one

Some geo cashing with the family.

We started a new hobby the other day and found it pretty exacting and also a great way to get out even more than we already are. Geo cashing is the name of the game and it is like a treasure hunt after small or big boxes with different things in. But most importantly it's a notebook of somekind in it so you can log your visit. Very cool.
Here's some pics of us going after some of the treasures. Our dog he got so excited when Björn climbed the tree he wanted to join him. Sadly that wasn't possible.
Björn the treeclimbing man or should I say boy. He got really into it and it was so fun to see how he went up and down this tree after the Cashe and I can tell that I found it. Not in the tree but more than that I won't hint. ;)
Here is my finding the Cashe from the tree hunt. This was the biggest we found of three Cashes that day. I dearly recommend doing this especially if you have children but even if we don't have the small rascals yet we got into it both of us.

Another place where Björn found the cashe and that got to be his first. This was a beautiful place that we've been driving by for ages but never saw untill that day. Amazing what new things we get to see with this hobby.

Have a lovley day

A day out in the forrest

These leafs just made me smile with there lovley sparkling colors.
We had a lovely afternoon in the woods Up on Hallandsåsen ( a very small mountain chain in Sweden). It's fall here and all the leafs has turned red and yellow a beautiful view this time a year even if I don't like the coldness that comes this time a year. Nature on the other handtakes on one of it's most colorful dresses now.
A spectacular scene to be part of.

Björn and I. I'm usually behind the camera but this time at least one picture came out with my face on it.
Hobbe was so frolic for being out in the woods where he always finds this twigs and sticks. And by all means tries to make us play with them until they are really gooey. This cow just stood there looking at us driving by like we were weird for even being there. But still it was so cute we couldn't stop from taking a picture and if you see in the upper left corner there is a black one that was a calf. But naturally he ran of right when we took the pic.

Have a great one

Went to Budapest with my mum a longtime dream for both of us even if we just stayed four days. But we got to see plenty and enjoy a relaxing time.
This is taken from my view at our favorite cafe almost next to Donau. And in the background you can see Buda of the two cities. An amazingly beautiful city with so much things to see and so little time.
A shot at one of the gorgeous old buildings in the city of Pest. This is both a hotel and a resturant though we never ate there we vent by it plenty of times because the underground/subway had it's station right next to it.
This is the same as above but from another angle and also a bit earlier and with a view over the square. Lots and lots of people was visiting at the same time as we did.
From the inside of S:a Stefan church and it's lovely ceiling. Wanted to take more photos but the rest came out a bit bad because it was pretty dark inside and it wasn't allowed to use the flash.
Lovely flowers that was planted outside a hotel in the city couldn't help it but found them so wonderful I just had to take a closeup.
Saw these flowers at a market we went by and loved the idea of putting pictures on the petals.

My mum and I on the second day after a great day of looking around in the city and enjoying good food and company.

Last day we saw these cool cups and kettle but sadly it was Sunday and after hours so we couldn't buy them. Even if we didn't have the time to look around the whole city and it felt like we didn't even got to see half of it. We still loved every minute and want to go back there again.

The Keys in Florida

Hi I'm over in the US for a visit and just got to an computer now to post some photos.
I just loved these signs down in Key West. They are so adorable.
With their writing and mostly for the great pictures I just love the colors and the simplicity.

I just feel for this old motorcycle and how it stood so well with the wall in the great green shades.
Isn't this tree amazing and so wonderful because of its stems and in one place it even had this stem going in a circle of its own.

So graceful.

The harbor was so great with fantastic boats and just the sun how it feel over the perfectly still waterfront.

The great sunset party down in Key West where they give small performances all over the town square. Some pretty cool ones. And naturally I needed some prof of one of my favorite things. The Sunset.

Bradley and I waiting for dinner. And I got this great jambalaya.

We had a lovely trip to Italy. Both of us had talked about it for a long time and finally we got to do it. Here's some of all what we got to see.

Some of the great mountains that we saw. It was such a beautiful country and great food served.

B in front of the great mountains, we where up on a sheep farm that had this wonderful lunch with all kinds of cheese and sausages and other meats and really good bread and pasta.

The view on the road to our hotel in the village of Santa Maria.

The village of Montelpiano. It was such a beautiful place and a real feeling of genuine Italian hospitality. The groom had rots in the village and so they got to meet their relatives.
It's up on a cliff that has this amazing view over a great area and the town square was placed so that you could see far and away over the mountains. A great place for a wedding.

This is the town square of Montelpiano and Les with her husband Rich.

B looking over the edge in Montelpiano. In the background some of the amazing view.

After the weeding we had a lovely dinner at the hotel in Santa Maria. and the day after that we got time on our own going to Pescara.

A great espresso after a more than wonderful lunch. We had only seafood of all kinds. After wards we went out on the beach and what a stunning place.
Me on the beach in Pescara and it was almost surreal how striking blue it was.

A happy B after a weekend with lots of great memories and wanting for more of Italy. And we will return soon hopefully.

Traveling to Czech Republic

Last summer -07 (B and I) went to Czech Republic and loved every bit of it. Traveling both to Praha but also to Pardubice were we stayed and to Brno.
I would recommend it.

Lots of great places to visit but also good food and nice people.

The picture to the right is of Plzen a town where most of the Czech beer is made. This is the view from our hotel window. Pretty cool.

This is the town square of Plzen and it had this beautiful church in the middle of it. And the whole square was surrounded with old

beautiful houses many of them also had writing on the front with wonderful pictures illustrating a craft.

And of we went into the sunset...

...after a day and a half in Plzen. And thought of going to Praha but ended up in Pardubice instead. And it got to be our home away for tow and a half weeks. And I'd love to come back some day.

Pardubice town square a great city that have most things that Praha offers but a more quiet character. And great communications to travel everywhere.

Praha this is the famous astronomic watch.

A cool store with all kinds of armors. B went nuts in the store and became a five year old boy again. With twinkling eyes and everything.

A happy boy outside the store.

The famous Charles Bridge in Praha (Prauge).

Charles Bridge Praha.
